Max fulfills his destiny in the final episode, which happens to be number 40--he overcomes Skullmaster only to turn back time and start his destiny all over again! Serena's destiny is fulfilled in episode 200, where she becomes Neo Queen Serenity and lives happily ever after in 20th century Tokyo--how sweet!
